Our pets bring boundless happiness, laughter and companionship into our lives. I feel privileged to help care for them and to witness the joy they quietly radiate into our world.

I have a B.Sc. in Biology (Hons) from Mount Allison University, and completed my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Hons) from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. The following year, I pursued a rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Toronto in 2018, and spent my second year of practice as an emergency veterinarian at the Toronto Emergency Veterinary Hospital. I am very grateful to the dozens of veterinarians and mentors who helped guide and support me through those years of training, and I am thrilled to work alongside the dedicated and compassionate team at Burnside Veterinary Hospital.

When not in the clinic, I love spotting happy dogs on a walk. I also love music, baking, hiking, skiing and cups of tea. My son is the apple of my eye, but I’m also fortunate to share my life with a pretty great husband and really great dog.
