Originally from Saskatchewan, Keira grew up around her family’s farm which gave her a love and appreciation for animals. This sparked her desire to work in the veterinary medical field. She knew that a vet tech was what she wanted to be after she saw the care they provided to her own kitten who had suddenly became very sick and needed to be nursed back to health. 

Keira graduated Registered Veterinary Technology from Saskatchewan Polytechnic in 2018. She worked at the small animal clinic that saved her cat up until she moved to Nova Scotia at the end of 2023. Keira has a special interest in nursing care and animal nutrition. Outside of work she likes to go on road trips, go to markets, watch movies, crochet, and spend time with her two cats Clyde and Nezuko.
